Sarah-Jayne Smith is an autistic and ADHD photographer based in the Rhondda, South Wales. Growing up undiagnosed, she experienced relentless bullying and abuse, which led her to leave school at 15, home at 16, and become a mother at 17. After enduring abusive relationships and a traumatic period in a refuge, Sarah has found strength, peace, and purpose in the Valleys she now calls home.
Her photography spans multiple genres, but the work displayed here focuses on the Welsh landscape - capturing the stillness, resilience, and raw beauty of her surroundings.
