Hi my name is Sue. Having come from a physically abusive childhood, and making some really bad emotionally and physically abusive partnership choices. I found my main escape from the fear and violence in creating things. When I was raising my kids in a single parent household I found this very useful. I learnt to work out how the latest styles in kids clothes were created and found I could easily reproduce them using clothes from charity shops. I repurposed old bed heads to make toys for special occasions, etc. I suppose I could be described as a 'jack / Jill of all trades'. I make bobbin lace, tatting, knitting, crochet, chain mailed jewelry, epoxy resin items, wire work and woodwork. And I often cross media on my craft work. I also love to draw and paint but I am definitely not artist!
